Presented at the end of our previous season, Tudo Bumbo was one of the most surprising events and a high spot of our musical programming for 2017. In this way, it became inevitable that, a year later, we should return once more to challenge Gabriel Ferrandini to continue with some of the premises that he demonstrated so brilliantly on our stage, in a concert that was enhanced by his precise and delicate performance. Interested in exploring the contrast between acoustic sound and amplified sound, Tudo Bumbo ran along this borderline in fine detail, creating in our concert hall a gigantic sound box that vibrated and, above all, responded like a preponderant element to a body of sound permanently in an agitated state of pre-collapse. We therefore considered it important to once again have the chance to feel all of the great impact of this rare adrenalin while travelling to new universes and looking for new weapons of sound, new muscles and new surprises. Throughout this mission, jazz will be oozing from the pores of Ferrandini’s body, while a new contemporary organism will contaminate the web of percussions, revealing an original dramaturgy. If you are included in the group of people that sold out our concert hall a year ago and who left the concert in a state of complete astonishment, then you will understand the intensity of the enthusiasm with which we are now awaiting this new opportunity to see him live.
